About

About the Academy

An education platform offering real estate training, business development, leadership programs, and resources to help Realtists grow their careers and expand homeownership.

NAREB Tampa

NAREB Tampa is the Tampa Bay Area Association of Realtists, Inc., the local board of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB). NAREB was founded in Tampa in 1947 and is the oldest minority professional trade association in America. Its members are called Realtists, and its guiding idea is democracy in housing.

The Academy

NAREB Tampa Academy is NAREB Tampa's education platform: real estate training, business development, leadership programs and resources that help Realtists grow their careers and help more families reach homeownership. Courses are open to members, to real estate professionals and to the public.

The vision behind the Academy

Kiana Washington Lampkin

President, NAREB Tampa

NAREB Tampa Academy is the brainchild of Kiana Washington Lampkin, the current President of NAREB Tampa. She sees a real need for education among Realtists, REALTORS and everyday home buyers, and created the Academy so that knowledge about real estate, homeownership and leadership reaches all of them.

Under her leadership, the chapter is carrying NAREB's founding promise, democracy in housing, into the classroom: practical training for professionals and clear, honest guidance for the families they serve.
