What you will be able to do
- Explain the difference between a UEI and a full SAM.gov registration, and keep your registration active with an annual renewal
- Build a readiness folder that proves your business model with real evidence
- Use the Florida SBDC, SCORE and Women's Business Centers to get no-cost help with plans, capital and certifications
- Identify anchor institutions in Tampa Bay and approach them through supplier diversity, vendor and pilot programs
- Track 2026 opportunities such as Hillsborough County's Small Contractor Development Program and local seed fund cycles
- Create and follow a 30-day action plan to access capital and partnerships
Most small business owners do not lack ideas. They lack fuel, and a clear map to where that fuel lives. This course shows Realtists, brokers and small business owners across Tampa Bay how to find capital and support beyond traditional investors: government registrations that open doors, no-cost advising, matching seed funds and relationships with the large institutions in your own backyard.
You will learn how to get grant ready with a UEI and SAM.gov registration, how to use the Florida SBDC, SCORE and other resource partners, how to approach anchor institutions through supplier diversity and pilot programs, and which 2026 program windows to watch. You will finish with a practical 30-day action plan. Program details change often, so the course shows you how to confirm current information, and it is education, not financial or legal advice.
